상품 상세설명
Description
Methods for quantifying proteins include UV spectrophotometry, the Biuret method, the Lowry method, and the Bradford method. Biomax's BCA Protein Quantification Kit determines protein concentration through absorbance of the color reaction using BCA method. In this method, the protein reacts with the Cu1 + ion and bicinchoninic acid when Cu2 + is reduced to Cu1 +, and the reaction turns dark purple. The absorbance is measured at 562 nm to confirm the protein concentration. BCA reaction is affected less by detergents such as SDS and denaturing agents such as Urea and guanidine hydrochloride than other methods, and the signal is maintained for 1 hour after the color reaction. The BCA protein quantification kit can be used either as a test tube or as a microplate. The user selects the method according to the condition of the sample.
